Recently, the 13th China Chorus Association Charming School Choral Performance was held in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with 78 choral teams totaling more than 3,000 people from all over the country competing. The Anhui Jinzhai Red Azalea Village Children’s Choir, which is supported by INTCO Medical and INTCO Recycling, stood out and won the second prize for elementary school group singing.

This is the second time the Red Azalea Rural Youth Choir to appeared on the national stage and won the national award. As the only choir from the countryside in the competition, the Red Azalea Rural Youth Choir received warm applause from the host and the audience as soon as they appeared on the stage. During the competition, the children perfectly integrated their natural and sincere emotions into the two songs “Reflecting the Red Mountain” and “Going up the Spring Mountain”, which fully demonstrated the vigor and vigor of the young people in the new era and touched the whole audience.

The establishment of the Red Azalea Rural Youth Choir is another strong proof that INTCO Medical and INTCO Recycling are deeply committed to public welfare and actively contributing to society. Since its inception in September 2022, this public welfare project created by the China Social Culture Development Foundation together with INTCO Medical and INTCO Recycling has been carrying the heavy responsibility of rural revitalization and cultural inheritance. With the strong support of the Anhui Provincial Taxation Bureau, the Party Committee and Government of Quanjun Township of Jinzhai County, and the First Secretary of the Taxation Bureau in the township, the choir has been able to thrive, and its source of funding relies entirely on the generous donations of caring enterprises and individuals, demonstrating the community’s deep concern for the development of rural education.

From the initial shyness and ignorance, to today’s confidence and tacit understanding, the children of the Red Azalea Village Children’s Choir wrote their own “Spring in the Cattle Class” with sweat and persistence. In the past two years, they overcame all kinds of difficulties and rehearsed after school, rain or shine, conveying their love of life and vision for the future with their songs.
