On November 27th, sponsored by the China Volunteer Service Federation and the China Volunteer Service Foundation, and organized by the China Volunteer magazine, the Affiliated Beijing Chaoyang Hospital of Capital Medical University, the Yunnan Volunteer Service Promotion Center, and the Yunnan Volunteer Service Federation, the “Health Care, We Are on the Medical Road” Medical Emergency Volunteer Service Team launched its hundredth event at the Luquan Ethnic Culture Square in Kunming, Yunnan Province.

To support the development of medical volunteer services in Yunnan by the “We Are on the Medical Road” volunteer service team, INTCO Healthcare, in collaboration with the China Volunteer Service Foundation, initiated the “INTCO Healthcare Firefly Guardian – Central and Western Regions 100 Plan.” The Shanghai INTCO Public Welfare Foundation, as the donation executor, focuses on people’s health and aims to meet the medical service needs of people in county-level areas. They have donated medical protective gloves and disinfectant materials worth one million RMB to medical and health institutions such as Kunming Luquan, Dongchuan County hospitals, and health centers to enhance medical protection in the central and western regions.

“Embracing Love, Embracing Kindness” has been the underlying logic behind INTCO Healthcare’s decades-long dedication to public welfare. In March of this year, INTCO Healthcare, in collaboration with the China Volunteer Service Foundation, launched the “INTCO Healthcare Firefly Guardian – Central and Western Regions 100 Plan.” As part of this initiative, INTCO Healthcare will continue to donate nitrile and PVC disposable medical examination gloves and disinfection and protection materials to hospitals in central and western regions. They will also collaborate with professional volunteer doctors to enhance the protective diagnosis and treatment level of hospitals in these regions.
